David Sargent, Jr. was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1966. David now resides in Prairie Grove, a small town in northwest Arkansas. He lives with his three dogs, Tatum, Daphne, and Rocco. Along with writing children's books, David and his three friends travel across the United States speaking to children. David shares his experiences of being a responsible dog lover and of how he became an author. His highly informative and entertaining talks teach children the importance of reading and writing. He showed our students that anyone can be an author. After the program, students were allowed to purchase books and have them autographed by David.
