Have a GREAT SUMMER WCS students!
Pee Wee Cheer Camp for grades K2 to 6th will begin August 8, 2014. Camp will be from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. with snack and lunch provided. Cost will be $35.00. Deadline to sign up is August 1, 2014. Each participant will receive a T-shirt.
Bailey Lott has been chosen to represent WCS in the Baseball All Star game to be played May 23, 2014.
Mary Kendall Ware signs to play softball with East Mississippi Community College. Mary Kendall also received an academic scholarship from EMCC.
Jacey Eldridge and Sara Burden White represented WCS and the District in the State Spelling Bee at First Presbyterian Day School on April 15, 2014. Jacey placed fourth and Sara place ninth against students from around the state. Congratulation girls!
WCS students participated in the Overall MAIS Art competition. Evan Osborn won second place and Alyssa Campbell won first place. Instructor: Brittney Chunn.
The first, second, and third grade students at WCS participated in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon. These students raised $1, 547.00 to help the children at St. Jude Hospital. Ms. Orsborne's Sixth Grade class took their annual trip to the Marshall Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama March 26, 2014.

The Beneficence Inc. donates money to WCS to pay the cost of covering the gym floor for various school activities.
